Free entry gets you the aircraft hangars any day, but half-term week adds a proper reason to make a special trip: a 45-minute space show inside a mobile planetarium, an inflatable laser-tag obstacle course, and a trail of characters hidden throughout the museum for younger kids to hunt down.
Good for a genuinely wide age range — toddlers can happily run around the hangars while older kids get stuck into the planetarium and trail — and the museum's free core offer means you're only paying for the extras you actually want.
