Litter pickers, gloves and bags all provided — just turn up in weather-appropriate clothing and Yorkshire Wildlife Trust does the rest. It's a two-hour session on one of the coast's quieter stretches of sand, part of an ongoing campaign to keep the Yorkshire coast clear for wildlife.
No experience needed, and it's a genuinely sociable couple of hours — the kind of low-key volunteering where you end the morning having actually talked to people.
