Food & drink · Wells

England's smallest city goes all-in for one Sunday, with traders spread across the Market Place, the Town Hall, along the cathedral moat and into the recreation ground — so it never feels as packed as a festival with 200 traders sounds. Wells Cathedral itself is right there for a wander in between stalls.
Good for a slow, grazing sort of day rather than a rush: come hungry, bring cash for the smaller stalls, and expect to leave with more homeware than you planned to buy.
Never miss the good ones
