Southwold Sausage Dog Walk

Started in memory of a dachshund named Percy, this has grown into one of the biggest single-breed dog gatherings anywhere — over 2,200 sausage dogs and their owners meeting at Southwold Harbour to walk the coast together. It raises funds for Dedicated to Dachshunds, a charity supporting dogs with IVDD.

You don't need your own dachshund to enjoy the spectacle, but if you do, this is about as sociable as a dog walk gets — everyone's there for the same daft, lovely reason.
