Sale Makers Market

Sale's town centre precinct turns into a proper market once a month — around 120 stalls of ceramics, prints, plants, small-batch food and street eats, with a completely different lineup each time. It's flat and step-free, and close enough to the tram stop that you can turn up with no plan and just browse.

Bring the dog: leads are welcome throughout, and the pace is slow enough to actually stop and talk to the makers rather than queue past them.
