Craft & making · Kington

Hergest Croft's 70 acres of trees, borders and woodland are one of the best places in the Marches to catch autumn colour, and the annual plant fair adds more than 60 specialist nurseries selling rare and unusual plants, alongside craft, food and drink stalls from local makers. It's one of the oldest fairs of its kind in the county, and it marks a natural close to the gardens' outdoor season.
Ticket price covers full access to the gardens for the day, so it's worth arriving early and making an afternoon of it — good walking shoes recommended, as the grounds are large and hilly in places.
