British Art Show 10

Only held once every five years, and this is the first time it's opened outside London — 30-odd artists spread across three venues, from the Herbert's main galleries to Coventry University's own spaces, means a proper afternoon of wandering between the city's compact cultural quarter and the campus beyond.

Worth pairing with the Mead Gallery leg out at Warwick Arts Centre if you've got the time — the whole point of British Art Show is seeing what a wide survey of British art actually looks like right now.
