Once a month, specialist early-years artists take over The Hepworth's galleries for a morning built entirely around one- to four-year-olds — singing and moving in front of the sculptures, then drawing, playing and making in response to what they've seen, before finishing with free creative play in the Clore learning studios.
It is proper gallery-going for people who normally can't sit still through one, and a genuinely good way to meet other parents doing the same thing. Tickets include free parking and half-price gallery entry on the day, so there's no reason not to make a full morning of it.
