Volunteer Work Day at Greno Woods

A proper day in the woods with Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust: footpath improvements, access work and habitat management, with all tools and refreshments supplied. Come for the whole day or just an hour or two.

Turning up solo is completely normal, and a shared task is the easiest icebreaker going. Wear rough clothes, bring lunch and water, and note there are no toilets on site.
