Glasgow Cathedral Festival 2026: Rooted in Discovery

Ten years in and Glasgow Cathedral Festival still finds new ways to make 850 years of stone sing — an internationally renowned organist improvising on the historic pipe organ, contemplative late-night concerts, and immersive drone works filling the nave. It's the kind of programme that turns a building you've walked past a hundred times into somewhere genuinely strange and moving.

Best of all, most of the "10 Talks for 10 Years" strand — on conservation, food, local history and community — is free, with reduced-price wheelchair seating, a free companion ticket and BSL interpretation on request, so it's properly set up for everyone to come.
