Craft & making · Whitstable

Folk & Bespoke runs this market monthly around the South East, but the Whitstable date is the nicest excuse: a community hall full of local makers — contemporary silver jewellery, macrame, hand-thrown ceramics, candles — with live music playing and cake going round, a short walk from the harbour and its own Saturday fish stalls.
It's small enough that you'll end up talking to the person who made the thing you're buying, which is really the point of a market like this. Free to get in, and easy to fold into a wider Whitstable day — oysters afterwards, basically compulsory.
