Market · Durham

Traders from across the North East set up in Durham's Market Place for a monthly market of locally produced food, condiments and drink alongside hand-crafted gifts, homewares and plants — the kind of stallholders who know exactly where everything came from because they made or grew it themselves.
It runs from 9am until stock sells out, so an earlier visit gets you the full range rather than the leftovers, and it's an easy stop before or after a walk along the riverbanks below the cathedral.
