Pastel Workshop with Paul Pigram

Local pastel painter Paul Pigram leads a small group through the garden at its autumn peak, teaching technique as you go and supplying every material — pastels, card, easels, the lot. No experience needed, and the setting does a lot of the work for you: Bodnant's terraces are one of the great autumn colour displays in Wales.

A good one for a solo day out — everyone's there to learn and paint, and Pigram's known locally for being an easy, encouraging tutor to beginners.
