The great Christmas markets

- Manchester and Birmingham (Frankfurt Market) — the biggest, busiest and most bratwurst-scented.

Illuminated light trails
Winter garden light trails are the modern Christmas classic — Kew (London), Blenheim (Oxfordshire), Longleat (Wiltshire) and Bedgebury (Kent) all run spectacular after-dark trails. They sell out early, so book in November.
